2. What type of equipment do you work on and repair?

  • We work on all types of equipment. Any desktop or laptop brand. Old or new, whatever the issue is, our technicians can get your system fixed. We are specialized and certified on phone systems, email servers, office grade printers/copiers/faxes, computers, laptops and networks.

3. Do you charge to diagnose my equipment?

  • NO! CGIT does not charge to diagnose the issue! You will always be presented with an estimate for work prior to time being billed.

4. Do you have a warranty?

  • Yes, however, no computer system, software or network can be made 100% completely stable or secure. We do support a 30 day warranty on any parts provided by CGIT. Installation costs of replacements are waived for the 1st hour, but payable per 30 minutes thereafter. *Returned products may be subject to a restocking fee, and Installation costs are non-refundable. For Recurring Issues: If the Customer notifies CGIT with 2 days of a service call that the problem for which that service call was made has reoccurred, CGIT consulting will evaluate the problem at no additional charge. If CGIT determines that the problem recurred because alterations were made by the customer, or the customer did not follow proper instructions, the fix service call will be charged as normal.

5. What is your Confidentiality Policy?

  • ALL information relating to our customers, clients and their property, will be held in the upmost confidence by CGIT.  We will not disclose or use any information unless it is reasonably necessary to do to provide the work needed or requested. We specialize in getting medical offices connected with the most up to date HIPPA Compliance ordinances.

6. How do I pay my bill?

  • For onsite services rendered by CGIT, the customer will provide payment to CGIT in the amount shown on the provided invoice upon job completion. Amount of invoice will be based off of the services provided at our hourly rate + parts, including driving time from point of dispatch. Payment is DUE UPON COMPLETION. For REMOTE sessions, a Credit Card may be requested prior to log on. Credit Cards will not be charged until remote session has been completed.  Some jobs may require a deposit for pre-purchases; this will be noted on your Quote or Estimate. We accept Cash, Check, & Credit Card.  Please make all checks payable to: CHEAP GEEKS IT CONSULTING

7.What areas do you service?

  • We are located in Modesto at 619 13th Street, Ste K, Modesto CA 95354. We service the entire central valley, From Merced all the way up to Lodi. We do charge a $35 trip fee to any customer who is not a Maintenance Client if the call is outside of Modesto, CA.
